Hello, I’m Sara Walker-Hite, the Owner and Principal Agent of Silver Wolf Insurance Services LLC, a boutique insurance agency with over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry.
I take an education first approach, helping clients align their needs with clear, tailored insurance options. I specialize in Medicare Individual and Group Plans, Under 65 coverage, and Small Business Group Insurance Solutions, ensuring that each client receives personalized and comprehensive service. At Silver Wolf Insurance Services, we prioritize ethical business practices and value family and relationships.
In addition to my professional role, I am actively involved in the NABIP Illinois Chapter and NABIP Heart of Illinois Chapter as a long-time volunteer and board member which provides me with regular opportunities to share the needs of my clients with our local elected representatives. My dedication to the industry was recently recognized with the Presidential Citation Award in June 2024, highlighting my leadership and contributions to the organization.
I am native to Champaign-Urbana Illinois area. My parents were educators and instilled the importance of learning, sharing, and engaging with the community. In our spare time, my husband and I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with our children and grandchildren.

Susan is a retired Illinois Elementary School teacher and is a proud alumna of both the University of Southern Illinois at Edwardsville and the University of Illinois. Susan is known for her dedication to her faith, family, and community outreach. In her spare time, she enjoys world travel and is an avid dog lover.

Medicare FAQ's
Got questions? We've got answers
You are eligible to apply for Medicare during your initial enrollment period which is a 7 month window. 3 months before turning 65, the month you turn 65 and 3 months after turning 65.
The easiest way to sign up for Medicare is online through SSA.gov or by Calling Social Security at 1-800-772-1213. You can also visit your local Social Security Office.
If you are already receiving Social Security Benefits you will be automatically enrolled into Original Medicare, otherwise you will be eligible to enroll during your initial enrollment period that starts 3 months before your 65th birthday.
If you miss your Initial Enrollment Period you can sign up during the General Enrollment period that occurs every year January 1st through March 31st. Coverage becomes effective the month following your enrollment date.
Yes, there are penalties for not signing up for Part B of Medicare and will be added to your premium.
If you need a new Medicare card you can order a replacement card by phone at 1-800-772-1213, or online at the Social Security Administration web site. Make sure you have your Medicare number ready when you call.
